Dear Showdown Friends,

It is with great honor and pleasure that we announce the hosting of the first-ever International Showdown Open Tournament in Asia, to be held in the Republic of Korea.

This prestigious event is jointly organized by the Korea Blind Sports Association (KBSA) and the Korea Showdown Association for the Disabled, under the official title:
“KOSAD International Showdown Open Tournament.”

We sincerely hope that this tournament will serve as a meaningful platform where showdown athletes from Asia and around the world can come together to compete, exchange, and build lasting friendships.
We cordially invite you to take part in this historic inaugural event in Korea.

· All competitions, accommodations, and meals will take place at Marina Bay Korea Hotel.

Tournament Overview

· November 27 (Thursday): Arrival of participants

· November 28 (Friday) Morning: Opening Ceremony

· November 28 (Friday) Afternoon – November 30 (Sunday): Competition

· November 30 (Sunday) Evening: Closing Ceremony

· December 1 (Monday): Departure of participants

Participation Fee

• There is no participation fee.
• During the tournament, meals, accommodation, and airport transportation will be provided for 4 days.
• Accommodation will be arranged in twin rooms (2 persons per room).

· Extended stay at Marina Bay Korea Hotel is not possible.

Competition

• The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the official IBSA Showdown rules.
• IBSA ranking points will be awarded.
• Matches will be played on showdown tables manufactured in Korea.
• The official showdown balls to be used are from Denmark.

Registration

• Deadline for 1st Entry (Entry by Number): September 22, 2025
• Deadline for 2nd Entry (Entry by Name including flight schedule): October 2, 2025
• Entries must be completed using the official entry form and submitted by email.

Transportation

• Transportation between Incheon International Airport and Marina Bay Korea Hotel will be provided on the arrival day (November 27) and the departure day (December 1).
• No additional transportation will be provided outside of these times.
