3rd edition of
the Lukasz „BYK“ Byczkowski Memorial
which will be held from December 3rd
to December 7th, 2025 in Sekocin Stary,
Poland. Lukasz was born on
December 1st, 1993 and
died on March 1st, 2023.

Place of Competition, accommodation, meals
All participants
will be accommodated in the Groman Hotel in double/twin, triple or single rooms.
Full board will be provided at the same place. Breakfast
is in a form of buffet, lunches and dinners will be served.
This is also the
venue.

Registration, participation fee
Deadline for the registration is July 31st, 2025, to register you have to fill in the entry form and send it to the following e-mail address: memorial.byk@gmail.com

A number of single rooms is limited – 1 single room per country. A number of
triple rooms is also limited. This fee includes accommodation and all meals
from Wednesday dinner to Sunday breakfast.
Additional
stay: if you
wish to come earlier or stay longer in the Groman Hotel it is possible for
extra payment of 80 € per person / 1 night (double
or triple room) and 150 € per
single room / 1 night.

Transportation
Transfers
are guaranteed only from/to Warsaw Chopin Airport and Warsaw Main Bus
and Train Station
at scheduled times.
Transfer
fee from/to Warsaw: 20 €/person.
Travel
details have to be communicated by e-mail to the Organizers by November 7th,
2025.
7.
Other information
The competition
will be held according to the IBSA Showdown rules, and players will receive the
IBSA ranking points.
The games will be
played on a minimum 6 Czech tables with 12 referees. Danish balls will be used.
Depending on the number of players there will be a Second Round or Play-Off
System.
According to the IBSA
guidelines for tournaments providing ranking points, players need to provide a
certificate, issued by a medical doctor, which testifies that their eyesight is
in the range for B1, B2 or B3. This certificate must be sent to the Organizers
with the entry form. Players who have a valid IBSA classification / National
classification do not have to provide such a certificate.
8. Visas
If you need a visa
to get to Poland for the tournament, do not hesitate to contact us before the
registration deadline. We will happily welcome new players from outside Europe.
After the payment for the tournament is made by bank transfer (which is
mandatory, no later than September 5th, 2025), we can send you an invitation
letter or any other required documents so you can start your visa process as
soon as possible.
