SHOWDOWN EUROPEAN TOP TWELVE 2023

INVITATION
Vilnius City Vėjas Visually Impaired Children and Youth Sport Club and the IBSA Showdown Subcommittee are pleased to invite the best twelve European male and female showdown players to take part in the Showdown European Top Twelve 2023. The Tournament will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on October 26 – 29, 2023.
Arrival: Thursday October 26.
Competition: Friday – Saturday October 27 – 28.
Departure: Sunday October 29 after breakfast.
Competition. Tournament will follow IBSA showdown rules. Only B1, B2 and B3 players are allowed to play.
Tournament will be played on six Czech tables. Danish showdown balls are to be used.
Participants. The best twelve European male and female players according to the IBSA ranking list of August 31, 2023.
Awards. The awarding ceremony will take place right after the competition. Three best male and female players will be awarded medals and souvenirs.
Tournament Venue. Competition will take place in Panorama Hotel.

Accommodation & Meals. Teams will be accommodated in single and twin bedrooms of the Hotel. Meals will be served at the restaurant of the Hotel.
Enty fee. 420 € per person per invitational period in twin room and 450 € per person in single room. It includes entry fee, accommodation and meals from Thursday (October 26) dinner till Sunday (October 29) breakfast and ground transportation from/to the Vilnius airport. Panorama Hotel is situated in 2 minutes walking distance from the Vilnius bus and train stations, therefore those who arrive to Vilnius by train or bus will be able to reach the Hotel by walk.
Additional stay. If you wish to come earlier or depart later than indicated in the invitational period, you will have to pay additionally: Extra bed & breakfast per person - 45 €, extra lunch/dinner – 20 €.

The entry fee is not reimbursable in case of cancellation of the participation from your part.
Deadline. Please confirm your participation in the Showdown European Top Twelve 2023 by sending the completed Entry form to Vilnius City Vėjas sport club’s e-mail klubas.vejas@gmail.com as soon as possible but not later than September 20, 2023. In case your application has not been received by deadline, the invitation will be transferred to the next players according to the IBSA ranking list.
