Dear Showdown friends,

 

On behalf of the CROSS Association and UKS Blind SPRINT, we would like to invite you to the 1st edition of the £ukasz BYK Byczkowski Memorial November 29 to December 3, 2023 . This will be a unique event this year. £ukasz was born on December 1, 1993, and died on March 1, 2023. We hope that this competition will be organized every year around his birthday and will attract a huge number of £ukasz's showdown friends.

The tournament will allow you to gain further points in the official IBSA Showdown World ranking. Current IBSA showdown rules apply.

We plan to play on 6 tables of Czech producer and we will play with Danish balls.. All the showdown tables will be on one place at the Hotel Groman.

Estimated number of male players is around  40 and female players around 24.

            The tournament will be held at the four-star Groman Hotel in Sekocin Stary near Warsaw. Accommodation and full board will be provided in the same place. This location is 20 km from Warsaw Airport.

Participation fee for accommodation at the hotel and fullboard is 250 EUR per each person. In case you need a transport from and to the Warsaw Chopin airport or main bus or train station, each person is to pay 20 EUR on top of the participation fee. In case you wish to have a single room you will pay 380 EUR participation fee.  

 

The deadline for submitting all binding application forms is no later than November 3rd, 2023. The deadline for payment is also November 3rd, 2023 on the following bank account:
