INVITATION
Dear Friends,
Vilnius City Vėjas Visually Impaired Children and Youth Sport Club has a big pleasure to invite your showdown players to take part in the International Showdown Tournament Golden Bat 2022. The Tournament will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on December 8 11, 2022.
Arrival: Thursday December 8.
Competition: Friday Sunday December 9 11.
Departure: Sunday December 11 after lunch.
Competition. Tournament will follow
IBSA showdown rules. Only B1 to B3 players are allowed to play. Playing system
will be decided after number of participants will be known.
We plan to play on four Czech tables (depends on the number of participants). Danish showdown balls are to be used.
Competition will be organized for 3 age groups:
1. Children under 15 years old. Mixed male and female competition.
2. Youth from 16 to 21 years old. Male and female competition (in case of a small number of players mixed gender competition will be played).
3. Adult group. Male and female competition.
Awards. The awarding ceremony will take place right after the competition. Three best children as well as three best male and female youth players will be awarded medals, cups and gifts from sponsors. Three male and three female adult players will be awarded medals, cups and monetary prizes.
Monetary prizes will be given as follows:
200 1st place
100 2nd place
50 3rd place
Prizes will be given if there are not less than 15 players in each competition (male and female).
If there will be 6-14 players in each category, then first place will be awarded 100 and second place 50 . If there will be less than 5 participants, monetary prizes will be not given.
Tournament Venue. Competition will take place in Panorama Hotel.

Accommodation & Meals. Teams will be accommodated in single and twin bedrooms of the Hotel. Meals will be served at the restaurant of the Hotel.
Participation fee. 240 per person per invitational period in twin room and 270 per person in single room. It includes entry fee, accommodation and meals from Thursday (December 8) dinner till Sunday (December 11) lunch.
Transportation fee. Panorama Hotel is situated in 2 minutes walking distance from the Vilnius bus and train stations. On request, teams arriving to the Vilnius airport will be provided with the ground transportation to the Hotel, and from the Hotel to the airport after the competition for the price of 30 per delegation consisting of not more than 3 persons. Larger delegations have to pay additionally.
Additional stay. If you wish to come earlier or depart later than indicated in the invitational period, you will have to pay additionally: Extra bed & breakfast per person - 35 , extra lunch/dinner 18 .
Payment: 30% of the entry fee (non-refundable) has to be paid by bank transfer before October 20, 2022 to the following account:

Deadline. Please confirm your intention to participate in the Tournament by sending the completed First entry form to Vilnius City Vėjas club e-mail klubas.vejas@gmail.com as soon as possible but not later than October 1, 2022. We kindly ask you to send the entries as soon as possible because permission of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport is needed for foreign players in order they could take part in the competition without being quarantined upon arrival to Lithuania.
