2022 IBSA SHOWDOWN EUROPE CHAMPIONSHIPS held to Antony, France, from the 12th December to 18th December 2022.
ORGANIZING FEDERATION PRESIDENT WELCOME:
Between its places and monuments steeped in history, its cultural effervescence or its gastronomy, Paris, a mythical city, has many surprises in store !
Through this organization we want to contribute to the promotion of this beautiful discipline that is the showdown and to see it grow.
We would like to thank all the sports bodies, French Federation Handisport, the Ile de France Handisport Commitee, the Showdown Commission, as well as the city of Antony and the region for this support.
Organizational Details
1) Place and Date Antony, France, 12th December to 18th December 2022
2) Arrival: Monday 12th December 2022
3) Competitions: from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th October 2022

Mercure hotel Paris Porte d’Orleans : 13 rue François Ory, 92120 Montrouge
Novotel Paris 14 Porte d’Orléans : 15,17,21 Boulevard Romain Rolland 75014 Paris
These two hotels offers full board treatment, so all participants will have breakfast, and dinner there.
4) The championship will be held from wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th October 2022 to Antony, at the US Metro Sports Park, 10 avenue Raymond Aron.

Program and game schedule may be subject to variations depending on the number of participants.
6) Participation Fee
Regular Package: Participation fee from 12th December to 18th December 2022 is 950,00 €.
It includes:
• Accommodation (double or single room). Participation fee from 12th September to 18th December 2022 :
Mercure hotel Paris Porte d’Orleans
- 777,10 € for 6 nights (double room)
- 724,85 € for 6 nights (simple room)
Novotel Paris 14 Porte d’Orléans
- 1058 € for 6 nights (double room)
- 774,00 € for 6 nights (simple room)
• Full board (including water during the meals) from Monday 12th December, dinner to Sunday 18th December, breakfast. The hotel offers on free: ü WiFi ü Air conditioning ü
Tourist Tax, set by OLBIA Municip (2,88 euros/day), is not included in the offer and has to be paid directly in cash at your arrival to the Hotel you will be accommodated in.
Deadline for registration by number is 30th October 2022, in order to register you have to send the entry form to tg@us-metro.org. The deadline for registration by name is 15th November 2022.
7) IBSA Capitation Fee - €25 per athlete to be paid with the entry by name with bank transfer
8) Payment Details: The first 30% of the personal Participation Fee must be settled within 30th October 2022 by bank transfer.
The second 70% of the personal Participation Fee must be settled within 15th November 2022, by bank transfer to:

9) Conditions of Participation:
The championship will be played in accordance with IBSA regulations. Each IBSA member must have paid their membership for the respective year; Every athlete should be registered on ISAS with a current license for the respective year ü
For each nation, 4 men and 4 women can participate;
Each nation can have only 1 team for team competition. Classification will take place on 12th December and 13th December 2022. The regulations are: (Athletes who need classification must be available on both (full) days of the classification upon their arrival.
o The IBSA Medical Diagnosis Form (MDF) must be completed in English, signed and stamped by a registered ophthalmologist in the respective country of the athlete.
o The MDF and if necessary, additional medical tests should be uploaded on to the ISAS record of the athlete on the database at least 5-6 weeks before the classification date of the competition.
Entering athletes to this competition and for classification:
1. ALL IBSA MEMBERS MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING TO SEND THEIR ATHLETES TO AN IBSA
2. ALL ATHLETES MUST BE LICENSED FOR THE CURRENT YEAR DEADLINE DATE FOR uploading MDF and any medical tests is: one month before the competition

10) Transportation :
Transfers are guaranteed only from/to Orly or CDG Airport or station train, by minibus at scheduled time. Travel details must be communicated by mail to the Organizers by 30th November 2022, otherwise the transfer will not be guaranteed.
11) All the participants must own a valid passport or ID card European.
12) Other Info DOPING CONTROL :
Regulations by the actual IBSA Anti-doping rules in collaboration with the local organisers.
