INVITATION
Dear
Friends,
Lithuanian Blind Sports Federation
has a big pleasure to invite your showdown players to take part in the 7th
International Showdown Tournament. Tournament will take place in Kaunas on June
22 - 25, 2017.
Arrival: June 22, Thursday
(afternoon).
Competition: June 23 – 25, Friday -
Sunday.
Departure: June 25, Sunday (after
lunch, not earlier than at 16 o’clock). It takes about 2 hours to go from Kaunas
to Vilnius airport.
Competition. The Tournament will
follow IBSA showdown rules. Playing system will be decided after number of
participants will be known.
Competition
will be played on two or three tables (according to number of participants).
Awards. The awarding ceremony will take place right
after the competition. Three best players (male and female) will be awarded medals, and three teams taking the
first three places will be awarded cups of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree -
accordingly to the ranking.
Place of Competition. Competition will take place in the premises
of Kaunas sports clubs “Sveikata” and “Parolimpietis”, address of the competition
place is: Savanoriu av. 206, Kaunas.
Accommodation & Meals. Teams
will be accommodated in the double and triple bedrooms of the Hotel “Centre
Hotel” http://www.centrehotel.lt/en/
. Address of the Hotel is Savanoriu av. 66, Kaunas. Breakfast will be served at
the restaurant of the Hotel, lunch and dinner will be served in the cafeteria
at the competition place.
Participation fee. 270 € per person per invitational
period (double or triple room) and 290 € per person in single room. It includes
entry fee, accommodation and meals from Thursday (June 22) dinner till Sunday (June
25) lunch.
Transportation fee. On request, teams arriving to the
Vilnius airport, train or bus station will be provided with the ground
transportation to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport, train or bus
station after the competition for the price of 50 € per delegation consisting
of not more than 8 persons. Larger delegations have to pay additionally. Fee of
transportation from/to Kaunas airport is 20 € per delegation.
Additional stay. If you wish to come earlier or
depart later than indicated in the invitational period, you will have to pay
additionally: Extra bed & breakfast per person - 30 € (double or triple
room) and 40 € in single room, extra lunch/dinner – 15 €.

30% of the entry fee should be paid by bank transfer before May 1, 2017 to the

Deadline. Please confirm your intention to participate
in the Tournament by sending the completed First entry form to the Lithuanian
Blind Sports Federation as soon as possible but no later than March 15, 2017.
